The Philadelphia 76ers overcame a six-point deficit in the final 28 seconds to edge past the Miami Heat 105-104 and clinch the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference on Tuesday night.
Tyrese Maxey hit a game-winning jumper with just 4.4 seconds remaining to cap off a furious rally by the Sixers, who trailed by 10 points with just over three minutes left in the game.
The Heat had a chance to tie the game in the final seconds, but Jimmy Butler's potential game-tying three-pointer bounced off the rim.
The win gives the Sixers home-court advantage throughout the playoffs and extends their winning streak to seven games. It also snapped the Heat's four-game winning streak.
