Sean Hannity has paid tribute to his friend and former sparring partner Alan Colmes, who died at 66 after a long battle with cancer.
Colmes was the co-host of Hannity's show on Fox News Channel from 1996 to 2008.
"Alan was a great friend and a great colleague," Hannity said.
"We had our disagreements, but we always respected each other." Colmes was a liberal commentator, while Hannity is a conservative.
"He was a true gentleman and a great American," Hannity said.
Colmes died on January 23, 2017.
