Two Elderly Windsor, Ont., Residents Killed in Lambton County Crash with Tractor-Trailer

Windsor Police Service is urging drivers to be cautious and pay attention to the road following a fatal collision involving a tractor-trailer and a car in Lambton County.
Tragic Accident
On Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at approximately 10:30 a.m., members of the Lambton OPP responded to a collision on Highway 402 near Oil Heritage Road in St. Clair Township.
The collision involved a tractor-trailer and a car. Sadly, the two occupants of the car, an 82-year-old man and an 80-year-old woman, both from Windsor, Ontario, were pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigation Ongoing
The Lambton OPP is investigating the cause of the collision. The highway was closed for several hours while police investigated.
The names of the deceased are not being released at this time pending notification of next of kin.
