Morgan Spurlock, the award-winning documentary filmmaker best known for his 2004 film "Super Size Me," has passed away at the age of 53. Spurlock died on Thursday, May 23, in New York City from complications related to cancer, according to a statement released by his family.
Spurlock rose to prominence with "Super Size Me," which documented his 30-day experiment of eating nothing but McDonald's food.
