What Happened on Day Two
Day two of the 2023 CrossFit Games was full of action, with athletes competing in three events: the Clean and Jerk Ladder, the Sprint Sled Sprint, and the Bike Erg Sprint.
Clean and Jerk Ladder
The Clean and Jerk Ladder was a test of strength and endurance, with athletes having to complete 10 rounds of increasing weight on the clean and jerk. The weights started at 50 pounds for women and 75 pounds for men, and increased by 10 pounds each round. The event was won by Tia-Clair Toomey and Justin Medeiros.
Sprint Sled Sprint
The Sprint Sled Sprint was a test of speed and power, with athletes having to push a sled 50 feet as fast as possible. The event was won by Noah Ohlsen and Mallory O'Brien.
Bike Erg Sprint
The Bike Erg Sprint was a test of cardiovascular fitness, with athletes having to bike as fast as possible for one minute. The event was won by Roman Khrennikov and Laura Horvath.
Overall, day two of the 2023 CrossFit Games was a great day of competition, with the athletes showing off their incredible fitness. The competition will continue on day three, with the athletes competing in the Triple Three.
